Who we help
We give impartial financial advice on the following subjects:
What we do
We provide voluntary and impartial advice in a friendly and comfortable setting. Our financial mediation service is confidential, and during the entire mediation process, you will remain in control.
For the initial meeting, we will discuss with you the issues that need to be resolved.
We will also tell you what relevant financial documents are needed for future mediation meetings.
We aim for both parties to share their financial situation so that we can help you to make an informed and joint decision on the information that has been provided.
The Open Finance Statement
This is the document that will give a summary of the current finances of both parties. This will have been completed after mediation. We will also provide a document entitled, ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ that will basically summarise everything that has happened during the mediation process.
If as a couple you are struggling to resolve your financial differences then mediation is a necessary process that needs to be gone through before court proceedings can take place. In many cases, mediation helps to resolve those issues and court proceedings are no longer needed.
This also has a positive financial implication upon your finances, as you will no longer need to pay expensive solicitor fees. Our financial mediation service is highly recommended by solicitors. This is due to the fact that using our services is far less stressful than going through the complicated court system. Please do get in touch with us to find out more about how we can help you.
